Progressive shaping provides a smooth transition from hybrid-like long irons to iron-like short irons. It’s a seamless changeover with forgiveness where you need it and control where you want it.
CONTROL
Forgiveness meets finesse in the Launcher HB Turbo Irons. Progressive shaping maintains forgiveness throughout the set, but compact short irons provide all the control you could want.
Launcher HB Turbo’s long irons are everything you’d expect from our most forgiving set. Their larger size makes it easy to attack distant pins. As you move to the short irons, the blades gradually transition to shorter lengths, and narrower top lines. It’s a more compact shape, giving you enough control to put the ball on the green and hold it there.
FORGIVENESS
Hollow construction makes the impossible possible: it allows for perimeter weighting and a center of gravity location that you just can’t get with traditional irons. The size and aesthetic may seem extreme to some, but the performance difference is instant and undeniable: large, hollow irons launch higher and go straighter. That’s a fact.
A cavity back just can’t compare to full hollow construction. When there’s zero mass at the center of an iron, perimeter weighting and MOI reach unprecedented levels. The result is unmatched stability on off-center impacts for straighter shots that fly farther. Hollow construction also gives us the freedom to optimize sole weighting for shots that launch higher. We can arrange and place interior mass in any pattern we like, optimizing for maximum launch without aesthetic consequences. We unflinchingly stand behind the hybrid-iron form-factor. A high-strength SUP10 Steel Insert has always made the Launcher HB a fast iron. But with the addition of a newer, thinner face insert in the Launcher HB Turbo, we’ve gone from fast to blinding.Increased speeds across the face make these irons truly turbocharged, and that’s more distance for you on every shot.
LAUNCH
Since its release over a decade ago, the dramatic sweep of the HiBore Crown has stood for towering shots that bore through the air. Launcher HB Turbo Irons add yet another chapter to that legacy, with our highest, easiest launch yet.
